Description
The first half of this course covers the fundamentals of remote control in a mining environment covering all aspects required for safe and effective remote operation of the machine and is essentially the operator
course (RCT22002) which also forms the foundational requirement for maintenance personnel.
The second half of the course focusses on all the maintenance aspects and is a mandatory requirement for mine site maintenance personnel who will be required to maintain the RCT equipment. If there are both operators and maintenance personnel present, then the operators can leave sometime on the second day and training will
continue for the maintenance people.
